In today's world many of us are confused in how we should approach our eating, which diet to stick to and what foods are good and bad for you. The industry has many views and different approaches regarding these issues the following is a brief example of how Fitmax believes how diet should be approached.

Fitmax promotes the Metabolic Type Diet, which in a simple way follows the ideology of eat what your ancestors ate. In this diet you are either a protein type who predominately eats protein, a mixed type who eats equal amount of protein to carbs and carbohydrate type who predominately eats carbohydrates.

This diet in depth can get complicated but for a basic understanding it is a great way to see and compare your current eating traits with what you could and maybe should be eating.

A great way to explain this is using an Eskimo for an example, an Eskimo's diet is based on protein and fat. Once an Eskimo migrates to Australia his diet changes. His diet becomes predominantly carb and smaller amounts of protein – therefore, changing his body mass. There are basic questionnaires developed by Paul Chek that gives you an idea where you fall within the three categories.
